Dear 18 – 25-year-old Americans,

As you you have probably seen, our country, our world, and our planet are in a bad place.

Your age group has great power to fix it, though!

Please get registered to vote like your future depends on it… because it does!

Your age group does not vote much in the midterm elections, normally. But these aren’t normal times.

Climate change and people deciding to take election results into their own hands, have brought us to the brink of the collapse of a livable earth and a functional Democracy.

Normally, only about 10-12% of your age group shows up in the midterms and 18% show up in presidential elections in a good election turnout.

But for this November 8th midterm election, if that number got up to just 30% of you voting, you would get us out of this present mess!

In the past 100 years, the party that won the presidency has lost the House two years later in the midterms every time except twice.

That can't happen this time because we're out of time!

We have only a few years left to legislate carbon emissions and support climate change technology for it to work.

But passing legislation is harder than it's ever been. These days, it takes one party having the Presidency and healthy majorities in the House and Senate for most legislation to get passed.

State legislatures and state Secretaries of State are important, too.

𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁!

That's why we need you to vote "straight-ticket" Democrat all the way down the ballot because:

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want to pass even more climate change legislation so the earth will be livable in the future.

Republicans don’t even believe in climate change.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want to make it so there are no long lines at the polls and students can vote easily.

Republicans are voting for things that make lines longer and it harder for students to vote.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want our voting system to remain intact so that everyone’s vote counts.

Republicans are running individuals that have said they will overturn votes if they just think something went wrong, without proof.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want to pass legislation that will make student loans not so burdensome for your future.

Republicans don’t.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want to codify Roe vs. Wade into law so that you and your doctor can make safe choices about your health, not the state.

Republicans ultimately want a nationwide ban on abortion including rape and incest.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 want to do anything and everything possible so that people can’t shoot up schools.

Republicans want to make it easier for all to have guns.

The best way to spread the word is for you to text, message, snap chat, etc. each other!
